223: Where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness, Where the Tigers play
Just a quick note with this one so I can get to sleep....full day ahead of us! Eddie and I got down to Clemson this afternoon and enjoyed a very good evening/night with some of his grad school friends. We also were able to walk around campus earlier and I snapped a few photos. This photograph is from a memorial on the Clemson campus to commemorate veterans of various conflicts and wars. I remember seeing the statue of the soldier on previous trips to campus but never realized that the mold was embedded in two nearby columns. I kind of like the idea that the statue is walking away from its mold in this photo.
